Job description
As a Platform Engineer, you will be the part of the central nervous system, acting as the vital link that transforms Schiphol into a fully autonomous airport. How exactly will you accomplish this? That's up to you. We rely on the way you want to improve every day. You put your talents to work at:
- Ensuring the reliability and scalability of our integration platforms, crucial for airport functionality.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing integration processes to boost efficiency and performance in airport technology.
- Leveraging your Java expertise, contributing to the technological evolution of airport operations.
- Collaborating with technology and business teams to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that improve operational efficiency and enable automation through CI practices.
Requirements
- Minimal 5 years of experience in developing Java integrations
- Experience with the Quarkus framework and Apache Camel
- Experience with unit-testing and integration-testing. (Pre: experience with Cucumber and/or test-containers)
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker or AKS.
- Networking: (Pre: experience with Nginx)
- Linux: (Pre: experience with RHEL)
- Messaging: (Pre: AMQ, Kafka, JMS)
- Monitoring and Observability: (Pre: Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Observability Cloud)
- CI/CD: (Pre: Maven, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Ansible, Helm, and/or ArgoCD)
