Job description
The Senior Software Architect works in external projects with the goal to deliver high quality technical solutions that meet the client's needs and business vision. The Senior Software Architect designs high-level architecture and defines architectural patterns and development standards for the development team to follow and performs a quality assurance role on development. - Problem Solving: Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
- System Design: Leveraging technical knowledge, you develop blueprints for solutions, including workflow diagrams, system architectures, and mockups, ensuring they fulfil user needs and are technically feasible
- Collaboration with Teams: You closely collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers to guarantee that proposed solutions are implemented accurately and on time
- Gathering and Analysing Requirements: You work directly with external stakeholders to grasp business goals and convert them into actionable functional and technical designs and solutions
Requirements
- You have a bachelor's or Master degree in IT (or related) field

5 years relevant experience in software development and coding including a proven successful track record as an Architect
- You have excellent knowledge of software and application design, architecture, and AI-driven systems
- You have hands-on experience across multiple programming languages and technologies (not limited to a single stack)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- You are enthusiastic about technology with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements
- Hands-on mentality: You have a hands-on mentality and you are comfortable in fast paced environment; You are proactive and result driven
- Business Vision: You identify and translate a client's needs and business vision into a fitting technical solution
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Your stakeholder management is excellent. You easily work with the client's stakeholders, supporting them in identifying and aligning on what is required to take the next step in the project
- Communication Skills: Your communication skills in English are excellent (Dutch is a plus). You communicate the architectural design and technical solution with the client and the team and set clear goals to work towards
