Design Engineer

Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality engineering solutions from concept through to production, with a particular focus on SolidWorks 3D modelling. Working closely with their production and fabrication teams, you will ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with their quality and safety standards.

Your new role

• Support the development and refinement of existing products
• Participate in new product design and development from concept to completion
• Ensure designs support efficient manufacturing processes, making adjustments as necessary during production
• Liaise with the production team to resolve technical queries and issues against drawings
• Maintain and update design record files in line with company quality systems
• Engage directly with customers to resolve design-related issues
