Job description

  • Conduct telephone functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions.
  • Compile clear, concise and factual medical reports - no treatment or diagnosis required.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and administrators to meet service level agreements.
  • Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing.

Requirements

Our client are looking for compassionate and detail-oriented professionals to join our Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) as Functional Specialists.

We are seeking an experienced and committed Functional Assessors who are already approved WCA Assessors to join our growing team. In this role, you'll use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments and compile evidence-based reports that help the Northern Ireland Department for Communities (NIDfC) or the DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) make informed decisions about benefit claims., * DfC / DWP Approval as a WCA Assessor.

  • One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor.
  • Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, GMC), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A professional, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to undergo BPSS security clearance.

Benefits & conditions

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm

Salary: £40,500 - £46,000 dependent on experience plus bonus scheme subject to quality and performance., * A competitive basic starting salary of £40,500 - £46,000 depending on experience plus bonus scheme subject to quality and performance
