Requirements
This role requires strong hands-on experience with Linux, containerisation, and virtualisation, along with the ability to write and execute verification plans and scripts., * Experience with Linux operating systems, infrastructure, and scripting (Bash, Shell, Python)
- Strong understanding of containerisation and virtualisation
- Experience integrating software within large or distributed systems
- Working knowledge of C/C++ and Java (Python desirable)
- Understanding of software architectures and TCP/IP networking
Experience with:
- Software integration and system-level testing
- Unit and wider software testing
- CI/CD and build tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git)
- Configuration management (e.g. Bitbucket, Artifactory)
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Defence sector experience
- UML-based design awareness
- Kubernetes and CNCF ecosystem knowledge
- Model-driven development or MATLAB/Simulink
- Software assurance, static analysis, and SBOM tooling
- DevOps or Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible)
- Automated testing and CI/CD optimisation
