Frontend Developer

Backend Engineer - Embedded / Real-Time Systems Paris (South of Paris / Île-de-France) Permanent, CDI Salary based on experience Do you want to build backend software that runs inside real products, where performance, timing, and system behaviour really matter?This opportunity is with a European technology company that designs and manufactures high-end professional hardware systems combining real-time processing, networking, and intuitive control interfaces. Their products are used worldwide in demanding environments such as live events, broadcast, corporate presentation, and control rooms, where reliability and responsiveness are critical.For this role they require you to be on-site 3 days per week and they require European Citizenship.What you will do:Design and develop backend services for embedded products, running on Linux-based systemsBuild and maintain real-time communication and synchronisation layers (WebSockets, event-driven architectures)Work closely with embedded, frontend, and system architects to integrate backend logic into complex hardware-driven productsEnsure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelinesContribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of development practicesKey skills required:Strong experience as a backend developer (Node.js, TypeScript; NestJS a plus)Experience working on embedded products or systems with real-time constraints (not pure web/SaaS)Good understanding of client/server synchronisation and real-time communicationFamiliarity with Linux-based environments and system-level constraintsIf you are interested in this position, please reach out and apply to find out more!Do you know someone who could be a great fit?
