Job description

Are you a passionate and experienced Product Owner with an interest in gaming? Do you enjoy turning creative ideas into clear, structured plans that help development teams deliver great products? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

One of our leading clients within the gaming and gambling sector is on the hunt for a Product Owner to join their studio. This role sits at the heart of the game development process, helping translate game design concepts into clear deliverables for Development, Art, Sound and Maths teams.

You don't need to come from the gaming industry, if you're experienced in Agile delivery and Jira management, and have a genuine interest in games, this is a fantastic opportunity to move into the iGaming sector., * Translate Game Design documentation into clear Epics and User Stories with defined acceptance criteria in Jira

  • Own and maintain the game Jira board, ensuring tasks, sub-tasks and bugs are properly organised and linked
  • Prioritise the backlog and support sprint planning sessions
  • Act as Scrum Master during sprint planning meetings
  • Run bug triage sessions and coordinate issue resolution with development teams
  • Capture design review feedback and ensure User Stories are updated accordingly
  • Ensure Jira workflows and Agile processes are followed consistently
  • Maintain and improve Jira templates and board structures to support efficient development
  • Take overall responsibility for the quality, clarity and accuracy of the Jira board

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience gathering requirements and translating them into Epics and User Stories
  • Strong expertise in Jira, including workflows, sprint boards, templates and dashboards
  • Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, development and art
  • A genuine interest in games or interactive products
