Job description

You'd be joining a purpose-driven consultancy that's well-known for helping public sector organisations make better decisions with their data. This isn't a high-pressure, constantly-rebuilding-from-scratch kind of job. Instead, you'll be improving, implementing and supporting existing Power BI models that are already well-designed. You'll get the satisfaction of making things work, while being supported by a team that takes pride in clean modelling, consistent standards and doing things properly.

You Will Work With

  • Implementing and maintaining enterprise-quality semantic models built in Power BI and Fabric
  • Adapting and configuring pre-built reports and datasets for new customers
  • Writing and optimising DAX measures
  • Troubleshooting issues like broken relationships, refresh problems, slow models and logic mismatches
  • Working with relational datasets delivered by the Data Engineering team (no pipeline building required)
  • Managing deployment, workspaces, permissions and RLS in the Power BI/Fabric service
  • Supporting UAT, documentation and releases
  • Helping customers get the very best out of their analytics subscription

If you enjoy untangling complex models and making everything run smoothly, you'll love this.

Requirements

  • A stable workload thanks to long-term subscription clients
  • A supportive, collaborative culture where quality really matters
  • Exposure to modern tools including Microsoft Fabric
  • A chance to make a difference in public sector services
  • A team that values innovation, high standards and continuous improvement

Key Experience

  • Around 3+ years of hands-on Power BI Desktop experience
  • Strong DAX skills and confidence handling complex measures
  • Solid understanding of star schemas, modelling and evaluation context
  • Good Power Query (M) knowledge
  • Experience working with relational data sources
  • Confidence managing Power BI Service/Fabric (workspaces, RLS, deployments)
  • A methodical approach and a love for clean, scalable models

Ready to Move Forward?

If you're someone who genuinely enjoys Power BI, loves problem-solving and wants to join a supportive team where your work makes a real difference this is a fantastic place to grow.
