Working conditions: 50% remote, 50% on site in Zurich, Switzerland

Also candidate has the option to work part time (3 to 4 days per week) or full time (5 days per week)

Avaloq Software Engineer/Developer/Programmer

Skills:

• You have knowledge of database concepts and are proficient in SQL.
• In specific banking topics, you have already gained around good experience in requirements engineering and in the further development of the Avaloq Core system.
• You are familiar with agile software development concepts.
• Experience in the field of investing (eg portfolio management, custody account products, performance, customer output) is an advantage NOT ESSENTIAL.
• You are an independent, resilient and performance-oriented personality with high analytical and conceptual skills and enjoy dealing with other people and working together in a team.
• You have a command of the German language, both written and spoken.

Day to day duties (main functions of role):

Together with our internal stakeholders, you will analyze user requirements and develop tailor-made solutions.

In close cooperation with the department, you will develop sustainable software adaptations on our Avaloq core banking system and inspire our employees outside of IT.

You will be actively involved in exciting and innovative implementation and further development projects and make a significant contribution to the continuous evolution of our entire IT platform.

You will quickly take responsibility for entire subject areas to be defined together and ensure their operation.
