Job description
As a systems technician for cybersecurity, you will play a central role in the technical implementation of our ATHENE research projects:
- Installation, configuration, operation, and recovery of AI clusters
- Setup, installation, configuration, and operation of systems with very high and highest confidentiality requirements, including structural measures
- Implementation of multi-tenancy in complex system environments
- Implementation of system hardening measures according to current security standards
- Independent collaboration with researchers on technical issues

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis. Requirements
- Completed studies (either a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience or a Diploma/Master's degree) in the field of IT, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
- Proven experience in handling complex IT infrastructures
- In-depth knowledge of system administration and network technology
- Experience with virtualisation technologies and container solutions
- Knowledge in the area of system hardening and IT security
- Familiarity with common AI platforms and their requirements desirable
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Good knowledge of German and English
