Job description

  • Act as a key liaison between the cortAIx Factory and wider UK businesses/functions.
  • Manage and report on Use Case progress, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
  • Coach teams in agile and lean delivery principles, implementing best-practice tools and continuous improvement methods.
  • Drive delivery excellence by ensuring quality, completeness, and performance across all AI engineering activities.
  • Capitalise on existing delivery practices and help refine processes within the cortAIx Factory.
  • Manage key output assets for the scrum team.
  • Use Thales UK processes and methodologies to interpret business requirements and support product definition.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks in line with established risk-management approaches.
  • Support data governance processes to protect and secure Thales data while enabling safe exploitation and collaboration.
  • Ensure critical business information is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Act as an advocate for the cortAIx Factory UK, its methods, approaches and ambitions.
  • Work with change managers to understand impacts and prepare change, training and communication materials.
  • Support Thales UK businesses in adopting common processes, tools and frameworks.

Requirements

This role requires someone who can work autonomously, thrive under time pressure and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes., * Strong understanding of business structures, processes and cross-functional interaction.

  • Delivery management skills - able to identify business needs and determine practical solutions.
  • Confident presenting to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and foster collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of project management principles and delivery processes.
  • Ability to drive and support change management activity.
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops and group sessions.
  • High proficiency in common office tools (MS Office Suite, etc.).
  • Experience in business transformation activities.
  • Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of UK military technologies, doctrine, processes and operational environments.
  • Experience working within agile sprint and scrum frameworks.
  • Broad IT knowledge (infrastructure, architecture, security, service management).
  • Hands-on experience with modelling, analysis or simulation tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience as a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master.
  • Operational experience within military domains.

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.

To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
