Head of Site Supervisor - Power Transformer Installation & CommissioningLocation: UK (national travel) | Full-time | PermanentA leading global engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Site Supervisor to lead the installation and commissioning of power transformers across the UK and Europe.This is a senior, field-based leadership role responsible for overseeing complex transformer installation projects from mobilisation through to commissioning readiness. The successful candidate will act as the organisation's principal on-site authority, working closely with project management teams, clients, principal contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team DevelopmentProvide functional and operational leadership to all site-based personnel across multiple projectsLead the development of an in-house transformer installation teamRecruit, mentor, and develop Site Supervisors and installation techniciansDefine competency frameworks, training programmes, and career development pathwaysPromote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvementSite Coordination and Project DeliveryOversee site activities for transformer installation projects from mobilisation to commissioning readinessSupport Project Managers with the implementation of project plans on siteDevelop and manage installation schedules, short-interval planning, and look-ahead programmesCoordinate daily activities between internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representativesManage site logistics including deliveries, plant, equipment, and temporary facilitiesProvide regular progress updates and escalate risks or issues where necessaryHealth, Safety and ComplianceLead health, safety, and environmental performance across all active sitesEnsure compliance with CDM 2015 contractor duties and client site rulesDevelop, review, and control Risk Assessments and Method, Electrical Site Manager - Critical Environments A growing and well-established building and construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join their Projects Division.
