Tasks

• Lead the software development team with about 10 members.
• Coordinate and participate in software architecture and design.
• Coach staff in both technical and organizational matters., * Leading the SW development team in the field of data and voice communication systems with approx. 10 subordinate employees
• Active coordination and collaboration in the creation of software architecture, design, and implementation
• Coaching of subordinate employees in both technical and organizational matters with the goal of building a high-performance development team
• Agile planning of work packages and development projects in close cooperation with HW development and system engineering
• Independently driving development projects forward and ensuring the timely delivery of work packages, * Leading the SW development team in the field of data and voice communication systems with approx. 10 subordinate employees
• Active coordination and collaboration in the creation of software architecture, design, and implementation
• Coaching of subordinate employees in both technical and organizational matters with the goal of building a high-performance development team

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Strong leadership with technical understanding and empathy.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and agile methodologies., * Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or comparable education
• Several years of active professional experience in SW development as well as in leading development teams
• Strong leadership personality with high technical understanding but also empathy for the concerns of subordinate employees
• Broad knowledge in the design and implementation of applications in C, C++, and Python
• Solid Linux, IP, routing, and SDN know-how
• Knowledge in version control, build systems, and test automation.
• Experience with agile development methods.
• Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, structured working method, and high problem-solving competence.
• Sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Team spirit, integrity, and hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills with fluent German and English.
