IT System Administrator

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT System Administrator to support and enhance our IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient systems that enable business operations across the organization. Your Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize server, network, and endpoint infrastructure (on-premise and cloud)
• Provide timely technical support to users across locations
• Implement and maintain security best practices (patch management, access controls, backups)
• Administer virtualization environments (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure/AWS) where applicable
• Manage identity, authentication, group policies, and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Troubleshoot complex IT issues and drive continuous improvements
• Maintain up-to-date system documentation
• Planning and implementation of IT projects and migrations

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in system administration
• Fluency in German and English
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Working with autonomy, strong team orientation and process improvement
• Experience with ITIL or structured support processes is a plus
