Working Student: Backend & Automation Engineer

• Bridge the Gap: Build and maintain custom API integrations between Shopify and external tools (ERPs, CRMs, Marketing Automation).
• Automate Growth: Create internal and client-facing workflows (using tools like n8n, Make.com, or custom Node.js/Python scripts) to streamline operations.
• Backend Support: Assist in developing custom Shopify Apps or private middleware solutions to solve complex logic requirements.
• Data Integrity: Ensure that tracking and data flow between the shop and backend systems are bulletproof.

Do you have experience in REST?, * Education: Currently studying Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• Tech Stack: Solid grasp of APIs (REST/GraphQL) and at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, or PHP).
• n8n & AI: You have already played with n8n or are highly eager to dive deep into low-code automation and AI integration.
• Problem Solver: You don't just see a bug; you see an opportunity to automate a solution.
• D2C Interest: You understand how e-commerce backend architecture directly impacts a brand's bottom line.
• Language: Fluent in English; German is a plus but not a requirement.

• Salary: €15 - €19 per hour (depending on experience).
• Hours: 20 hours per week.
