Job description

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira.
  • Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Resolve hardware problems related to computers, peripherals, and network devices.
  • Manage computer networking components such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and operating system configurations.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks including software installation, updates, and configuration.
  • Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions to improve support processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement system upgrades and network improvements.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of network security measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their issues and provide clear solutions while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support across various platforms and systems.   • Experience with help desk ticketing systems like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of computer hardware components.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT support or networking are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology who thrive in a customer-focused environment while continuously developing their IT expertise.
