Cloud Solutions Architect

We are working with a highly respected and long-established firm based in London that is looking to appoint an experienced Cloud Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering its cloud strategy.

This is a senior, hands-on role offering the opportunity to design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms that support business-critical systems across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Architecting AWS-based cloud platforms to support large-scale, data-intensive workloads
• Driving the cloud architecture for enterprise data modernisation and migration initiatives
• Defining patterns for scalability, resilience, security, and cost efficiency on AWS
• Working closely with data engineering, platform, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Balancing strategic direction with hands-on architectural problem-solving

• Strong experience as a Cloud Architect or senior technical leader in AWS environments
• A track record of delivering large-scale data transformation programmes
• Deep understanding of AWS-native services used in modern data architectures
• (eg data lakes, analytics platforms, streaming, distributed processing)
• Experience designing systems that handle volume, velocity, and variety of data
