SC Cleared Solution Architect - Contract (Outside IR35)

As Solution Architect, you will take ownership of defining and agreeing the modernisation approach, ensuring both technical robustness and alignment with business objectives.

You will:

• Lead the definition of application modernisation and risk mitigation strategies
• Facilitate workshops with suppliers, business users, and technical stakeholders
• Produce high-quality High-Level Design (HLD) artefacts
• Act as the technical authority (SME) across the delivery life cycle
• Provide assurance that delivery partners align with agreed designs, including LLDs and release plans
• Lead design socialisation sessions and secure approval from governance bodies (including CTO/technical design authority)

• Active SC Clearance (essential)

Strong background in:

• Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Architecture
• Proven experience delivering application modernisation programmes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Experience working within government or highly regulated environments
• Ability to drive consensus across technical and non-technical audiences
