Requirements

Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)

-A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is essential, with a master's degree preferred for advanced roles

Essential Qualities

-Understanding of further/higher education /Education Cloud with experience in implementation and customisation of the Salesforce Platform.

-Knowledge of further/higher education processes and systems, including admissions and enrolment.

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

-Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Desirable Skills

-Experience. Several years of experience in Salesforce application development, software engineering, and working with the Salesforce ecosystem.

-Certifications. Valid Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, App Builder, or Salesforce Administrator demonstrate expertise in Salesforce tools.

-Technical skills. Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, SOQL, HTML, and CSS, and familiarity with Python, MySQL, or other database tools.

-Problem-solving abilities. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical issues and improving existing systems.

-Analytical skills. Expertise in data modelling, debugging, and implementing salesforce solutions that align with business needs.

-Communication skills. Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

-Knowledge of Salesforce tools. Hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce pages, automation tools, and dashboards.

Benefits & conditions

21 hours across 3 days a week for 52 weeks per year

-Pro rata of 25 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays

-This is a permanent part-time position

-Start Date 01 Jun 2026 (or earlier by mutual agreement)

-Pro rata of annual salary FTE £40,000 (actual salary £24,000)
