Requirements

Do you have experience in C++?, Do you have a Doctoral degree?, We are looking for a hands-on, self-directed R&D Scientist with strong expertise in low-level graphics programming (C++, OpenCL, CUDA, OpenGL) and a solid understanding of computational holography or iterative phase retrieval algorithms (e.g. Gerchberg-Saxton).

Working within our R&D team, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in experimental, high-autonomy environments and is eager to explore and implement complex ideas independently-without needing tightly defined tasks or constant direction. You'll be expected to dig into existing codebases, prototype new approaches quickly, and help drive innovation in acoustic and holographic systems across AcoustoFab's core applications.

We're not just looking for a researcher-we want someone who codes, tests, and iterates. Someone who can challenge ideas constructively, contribute independently, and move fast, while complementing a deep-tech R&D culture., o PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on computational optics, computer graphics, or wave physics. Equivalent industry or research experience are also considered.

· Technical Skills:

o Strong programming skills in C++, with experience in OpenCL, CUDA, OpenGL, or similar GPU-based frameworks.

o Solid understanding of computational holography, wavefront engineering, or iterative phase retrieval algorithms (e.g. Gerchberg-Saxton, Neural Holography, or related techniques).

o Experience working with numerical simulations, signal processing, or real-time systems.

o Comfortable navigating and contributing to complex codebases, with good software engineering practices.

· Preferred Skills:

o Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on technical challenges without waiting for detailed direction.

o Hands-on and experimental mindset-able to move quickly from idea to prototype.

o Experience with C++ and OpenGL/3D graphics pipelines., * Describe you experience in programming in C++

  • Do you have an understanding of computational holography, wavefront engineering, or iterative phase retrieval algorithms.
  • Do you have at least 1 year of experience in computational acoustics or similar.

Benefits & conditions
