Senior .NET Developer - Contract (Inside IR35) Location: West Yorkshire (flexible) Rate: Up to £425 per day Duration: 6 months+ Start: ASAP
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a high-profile public sector digital programme. You'll be working on a mature, live platform undergoing significant expansion, focused on improving and digitising end-to-end user journeys at scale.
The Role:
You'll join a collaborative product team responsible for enhancing and maintaining a live application. This is a hands-on role covering full life cycle development - from building new features to supporting production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain modern .NET applications
- Build new features and enhance existing functionality
- Support live services, including troubleshooting and bug fixing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Contribute to system design and continuous improvement
Tech Stack:
- C#, ASP.NET Core
- Azure Cloud
- SQL Server
- Docker
- Terraform (desirable)
Requirements:
- Strong experience with .NET and modern web application development
- Experience working in cloud environments (ideally Azure)
- Familiar with CI/CD, version control and automated testing
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Exposure to APIs, integrations, and live system support
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments
Additional Info:
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance (5 years UK residency required)
