Job description
As Senior Manager Business Intelligence & Strategic Projects (m/f/d), you drive competitive intelligence, business analytics, forecasting, and market research activities to generate impactful, actionable insights for the global Biopharma organization.
In this highly visible role, you will shape strategic decision-making across in-line, pipeline, and business development programs while supporting global portfolio management processes.
This position can be based in Germany or Spain.
Your Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence, Forecasting & Reporting:
- Oversee Competitive Intelligence, Business Intelligence and Business Analytics activities to ensure timely, high-quality insights for global, regional, and local stakeholders
- Provide relevant and actionable insights to BU Biopharma at all levels
- Coach Business Intelligence Consultants
- Lead performance monitoring of Fresenius Kabi and key competitors, including preparation and development of launch trackers and dashboards
- Lead global market research projects defined by Global Marketing
- Drive monthly and quarterly reporting activities across all relevant management and commercial stakeholders
- Present findings, provide strategic recommendations, and implement approved actions
Portfolio Management & Strategy:
- Support - and lead when required - the global portfolio management process, including Portfolio Review meetings, new product selection and lifecycle management assessments
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor CI/BI/forecasting budgets
- Coordinate activities with global, regional and country BI teams
- Continuously enhance processes using digital tools and AI
- Support global strategic priorities aligned with the overall biosimilar strategy
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Degree-level education, preferably in a scientific field; a postgraduate degree (MA, MS, MBA, PhD) is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in competitive intelligence and commercial analytics; portfolio management experience is a plus
- Expertise in biosimilars market dynamics (US/EU focus) and strong understanding of product development and strategy
- Proven ability in sales and cost forecasting as well as P&L reporting
- Strong analytical skills, including excellent Excel-based modelling capabilities
- Ability to synthesize complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence without authority across multifunctional teams
- Experience managing multiple projects and external vendors simultaneously; high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English required; additional languages are an asset
