React Native Developer

Avanti Recruitment is working with a fast-growing, digital-first financial services business looking to hire a Senior React Native Developer to take ownership of their mobile application and help shape the future of their platform.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be building and scaling high-performance mobile apps used by real customers, working closely with product, design, and backend teams.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
• Designing scalable, high-quality mobile architecture
• Collaborating with UX, product, and backend teams to deliver new features
• Integrating APIs and third-party services
• Implementing secure, reliable mobile solutions
• Driving best practices across testing, performance, and code quality
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and app releases to iOS and Android stores

• Strong commercial experience with React Native
• Solid JavaScript / TypeScript skills
• Experience delivering mobile apps end-to-end
• Knowledge of state management (Redux, MobX, Context API, etc.)
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest or Detox
• Understanding of mobile performance, scalability, and security

Nice to have

• Experience with native iOS or Android development
• Exposure to CI/CD and mobile build pipelines
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments
