Design Assurance Engineer

We're recruiting a Design Assurance Engineer to support a leading aerospace programme, ensuring avionics and electronic hardware meet all airworthiness, safety, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent design assurance across the full lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with DO-254, ARP4754A, ARP4761, EASA/FAA.
• Review requirements, design artefacts, safety analyses, and test evidence.
• Oversee/witness verification and qualification testing.
• Support safety assessments (FMEA, FTA, SSA) and DAL compliance.
• Ensure configuration and process adherence across engineering teams.

• Degree in Electronics, Avionics, Aerospace or similar.
• Experience in design assurance, airworthiness, or avionics/electronics development.
• Strong understanding of digital/analogue hardware, embedded systems, or avionics integration.
• Familiarity with DOORS/Polarion/JAMA.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
