Full stack developer

As a Full stack Developer, you will support an agile product development team in the creation of modern software solutions to provide sales and loyalty programs with the best possible support for target-oriented decisions in the context of loyalty management that is available at any time and any place.

What you will do:

As part of our cross-functional product team, you are responsible for the realization of the product and the subsequent support during operation. You support the team in the creation of user stories and are jointly responsible for their implementation:

• You make life easier for many people: With the development of modern, user-centered applications, in the form of web solutions in scalable microservice applications, considering best practices such as API first.
• You get involved: Both in the conception and design as well as in the qualified documentation of IT solutions and in the joint implementation in a team.
• You take responsibility: For example, for compliance with software architecture specifications, in the creation and maintenance of reusable components or in the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance measures.
• You support existing applications during ongoing operations and thus enable smooth application migration.
• As part of the team, you focus on software quality and demonstrate this in pair programming and code reviews. In coding dojos, you will sharpen the common understanding within the team.

• First and foremost, your personality: your diligence and reliability, but also your commitment and team spirit. Your courage to take on responsibility and especially your customer orientation.

• Your successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.

• Your good experience in the object-oriented development and quality assurance of applications, multi-tier systems, modern web applications and also your practical experience in the use of software engineering methods.

• Your good knowledge of Kotlin (or Java), Spring Boot and micro-service architectures as well as knowledge of Kafka. You have experience with CI pipelines based on GitLab and the use of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and operation in container platforms such as Kubernetes or GCP.

• Your enthusiasm for technological solutions and your clear view of their economic benefits.

• Strong verbal and written skills in English
