As a Data Engineer at Van Lanschot Kempen, you'll be at the forefront of transforming raw data into powerful insights that guide our most important business choices. Joining our forward-thinking Group Performance Analytics department, you'll work in a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team alongside engineers, analysts, and business specialists to empower a wide range of stakeholders-including Bankers, Regional Directors, Business Controllers, Risk Managers, and senior leadership teams.
In this role, you will focus on either:
- Commercial Intelligence: working with commercial data to help improve the sales effectiveness of the Private Bankers
- Finance & Risk Intelligence: working with financial and risk data to support the Finance, Risk, and Control teams in providing accurate management information to help steer the bank.
Working with advanced technologies from companies like Databricks and Microsoft, you'll design and optimise data pipelines and reporting solutions that make a tangible impact on our commercial processes. You'll be encouraged to experiment with the latest tools, share your ideas, and help drive innovation across our platforms. A keen focus on visualisation-especially using Power BI-means your work will directly enable smarter decisions organisation-wide.

- Partner with business stakeholders, data providers, and platform teams to optimise data-driven products.

You also:

have a master's degree in a relevant field.

have more than 2 years' hands-on experience in data modelling, ETL development, and dashboard/report creation.

have strong expertise in Power BI for building intuitive dashboards, data models, and impactful visualisations. have affinity with Private Banking and investment products.

have a strong understanding of cloud technologies (serverless, scalable solutions) and are proficiency in Python, Databricks, T-SQL, and Microsoft Azure.

are analytical and solutions-oriented.

have knowledge of different AI technologies, frameworks and libraries

have good mastery of English, both oral and written.

A gross monthly salary between €3,700 and €5,500, compatible with your knowledge and experience.
