Job description

  • Administer Salesforce Core and Marketing Cloud environments, including user access, permissions, roles and configuration
  • Support configuration of objects, fields, automation flows, journeys and templates
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity and environment health
  • Ensure consistent configuration standards across business units

Architecture & Governance

  • Learn and document Salesforce Core & Marketing cloud foundational architecture delivered by external partners
  • Review configuration against scalability and governance standards
  • Support enforcement of data model integrity and permission structures
  • Maintain platform documentation, admin runbooks and configuration records

Marketing Cloud Business Unit Enablement

  • Support onboarding of additional business units onto the platform
  • Provide configuration support during rollout phases
  • Assist in testing, release coordination and deployment processes
  • Build internal knowledge resources to enable long-term platform sustainability

Platform Stability & Improvements

  • Identify configuration improvements to enhance performance and scalability
  • Support integration touchpoints with data warehouse and activation tools
  • Escalate architectural risks or scalability concerns
  • Contribute to defining best practice standards for future platform expansion

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Salesforce administration, ideally across both Core and Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, object architecture and permission structures
  • Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-business unit environments
  • Comfortable reviewing externally delivered configurations and assessing scalability
  • Experience working alongside agencies or technical delivery partners
  • Understanding of CRM governance, consent management and data integrity principles
  • Familiarity with integration patterns between CRM and data platforms/warehouses preferred

About the company

The Salesforce Platform Administrator, International (12 months FTC) will support the administration, configuration and governance of the Salesforce Core and Marketing Cloud environment for Live Nation's international venues. This role is designed to build internal platform capability as part of the Venues Marketing programme rollout. You will work closely with the CRM Platform Lead and external delivery partners to absorb foundational architecture, manage ongoing platform configuration, and prepare the environment for future business unit expansion. The role combines hands-on Salesforce administration with structured knowledge capture, documentation and enablement. Over the course of the contract, you will help reduce external dependency, strengthen governance, and ensure the platform is scalable, stable and well-documented. This is a 12-month fixed term contract focused on internal capability development, platform stability and documentation. At the end of the contract period, the ongoing need for a dedicated Salesforce platform resource will be reviewed based on platform maturity, scale and business demand.
