Principal Technology Architect - E2E Enterprise, Device Management

• Architect scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions for B2B and B2C Wi-Fi connectivity, CPE firmware requirements, integrating mobile apps, customer-facing platforms, BackOffice microservice strategy, API definitions, Cloud strategy and B2B specific requirements.
• Define and drive the end-to-end architecture strategy and roadmap for broadband and Wi-Fi services across HFC, DOCSIS, FTTx, XGS-PON networks.
• Publishing Target Architecture, Architecture Assessment, Initial Impact Assessments and High-Level Architecture documentation defining the blueprint and socialize thee same at exec level and relevant stakeholders as well as with component architects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CPEs (RDK-B), CMTS, middleware, CRM, customer care systems, and cloud-native platforms (AWS/multi-cloud).
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Big Room Guidance, control Kanban boards, monitor Jira stories within agile way of working. Ensure architectural alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.
• Engage with Industry Bodies with a view to contribute, attend workstreams or keep looking briefly at all trends and standards
• Provide technical leadership in solution design, vendor evaluation, PoCs, and architecture governance, PoCs, RFx, Pre-sales, vendor selection.

• Prior e2e & enterprise level architecture experience is essential, designing and implementing service delivery platforms based on API contracts is mandatory. Good knowledge of REST/JSON, SOAP/XML and key web front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Have strong IT, SOM/COM, policy management, Systems, CPE, Smart Home/IoT and Network Architecture pedigree, with specific experience with Telco backend systems and associated protocols with the ability to define Microservices and API contracts between BackOffice cloud-based systems.
• Understand the technologies and platforms specific to a large cable and telecommunications operator, with background knowledge and experience of HFC / DOCSIS, XGS-PON and mobile based networks.
• In-depth experience of Cloud technologies with experience of defining architecture within AWS and/or GCP environments, where resilience, running costs, monitoring and security are all specified.
• Experience and detailed understanding of interfaces and protocols used in the collection, application and notification of control & policy across multiple access methodologies to support modern converged services.
• Real-life experience of developing and maintaining App, Web and Devops tools

Preferred

• Specific experience within an AI, Smart Home or IoT integration background would be an advantage.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of TR-181, TR-101, TR-156, TR-104, modelling, AAA, OpenSync, MQTT/OVSDB, SNMPv3, YANG, IPv4/IPv6 allocation and PCRF/PCEF concept is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of industry standards & architecture frameworks such as TAM, eTOM, SID, TOGAF, SOA, Web 2.0 would be preferred.
• Fully aware of Industry standard bodies publications such as WFA, BBF, IEEE, CableLabs, RDK.
