Design Engineer

White Label is working with a fire protection engineering company in West Yorkshire that require a Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their growing team. As the Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed sprinkler and water mist system designs for a range of residential and commercial projects, including high-rise buildings, hotels, schools, and care facilities. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements. My client is offering a salary of £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience.

• Working hours 9 - 5pm Monday - Friday

• Opportunities for training and career progression Responsibilities of the Sprinkler Design Engineer

• Produce detailed fire sprinkler and water mist system designs using AutoCAD

• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop accurate system layouts

• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

• Work closely with project teams and clients to deliver design solutions for a range of building types

• Support project delivery by ensuring designs meet required specifications and deadlines

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design function

• Adapt designs and documentation where project requirements change

• Previous experience designing fire sprinkler systems
• Knowledge of LPC Rules, BS EN 12845 and BS 9251 standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks would be advantageous, I have 7 years of recruitment experience solely recruiting for engineering and manufacturing companies in West and South Yorkshire for Design Engineer and Project Engineer based roles.
