The Technical Manager plays a critical role in managing, designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and reliable network infrastructure for our organization. This role ensures the optimal performance of our customer' IT infrastructure as well as the protection of their data and systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure network architectures. Install and configure network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).

Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network performance and identify potential issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents. Perform scheduled maintenance, software upgrades, and security patches.

Security Administration: Implement and manage network security solutions (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, etc.). Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Respond to security incidents and investigate breaches.

Security Awareness and Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures. Conduct security awareness training for employees. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.

Requirements

Being familiar with the following customer environment is a must: Hospitality, Manufacturing, & Education.

Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing protocols, etc.) and security principles.

Proficiency in firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.

Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.

Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including clearly explaining technical concepts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

1+ years of experience in network and security roles.

Industry-recognized certifications are preferred (Certified in Cybersecurity, Mimecast Gateway Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Dynamics 365 Fundamentals [CRM & ERP], CCNA, CCDA, Cisco Meraki Solutions, CISSP, CEH).

Experience managing a customer environment.
