Job description

continuous learning and global collaboration, where you can make a meaningful impact through innovative projects that shape the future of technology., The FPGA Engineer will contribute to the development, recovery, and certification support of FPGA-based designs for aerospace platforms, with a strong focus on legacy systems and board bring-up activities. The scope includes reverse engineering existing FPGA implementations, developing firmware from hardware requirements, and supporting integration of FPGA designs onto new or existing boards., * Lead FPGA development for legacy aerospace designs, including reverse engineering, and board bring-up activities.

  • Develop firmware requirements from hardware requirements.
  • Work closely with hardware teams, supporting early-phase board design and integration.
  • Ensure designs and deliverables comply with DO-254 aligned processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline., * Strong FPGA experience using VHDL, including Xilinx or Microchip devices.
  • Proven experience working from limited or legacy design information.
  • Experience working in regulated aerospace or defence environments (DAL-D).
  • Awareness of DO-254 or similar hardware certification standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a small team and across parallel design and verification activities.

SC clearance (or eligibility) and ability to work on-site 3-4 days per week. Similar jobs
