Automation Developer (Microsoft Power Platform) - Join Our Digital Transformation Journey - Islington CouncilAre you passionate about digital innovation and eager to shape the future of public services? As an Automation Developer you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge automation processes and Power Platform applications. You'll work alongside a dynamic team to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centred solutions that drive efficiency and service improvement across the organisation. This role is ideal for automation development professionals and those looking to transition into a Low Code or Power Platform automation developer path, offering hands-on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI, and virtual agent technologies.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain low-code solutions on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
Design, develop, and support automation processes that modernise business processes, reduce reliance on third-party software, and empower citizen developers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts and developers to ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and user-experience standards.
Participate in the digital strategy to drive transformation and improve service delivery across the organisation.
