Automation Developer (Microsoft Power Platform) - Join Our Digital Transformation Journey - Islington CouncilAre you passionate about digital innovation and eager to shape the future of public services? We are seeking enthusiastic Automation Developers to join our expanding Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE).
As an Automation Developer you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge automation processes and Power Platform applications. You'll work alongside a dynamic team to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centred solutions that drive efficiency and service improvement across the organisation. This role is ideal for automation development professionals and those looking to transition into a Low Code or Power Platform automation developer path, offering hands-on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI, and virtual agent technologies.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain low-code solutions on Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
Design, develop, and support automation processes that modernise business processes, reduce reliance on third-party software, and empower citizen developers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts and developers to ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and user-experience standards.
Participate in the digital strategy to drive transformation and improve service delivery across the organisation.
