Job description

We are looking for a Technical Architect to take ownership of the Microsoft technology stack across a large, complex enterprise environment. This is a strategic, non-hands-on role responsible for defining the architecture, standards, and roadmap for Microsoft workplace technologies. You will work closely with IT leadership, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure the Microsoft ecosystem is designed to support business growth, security, and user productivity at scale., + Own the architecture and strategic direction of the Microsoft stack across the organisation.

  • Define architecture standards, governance, and technology roadmaps.

  • Provide architectural oversight across programmes and technology initiatives.

  • Work with procurement and vendors to shape technology and licensing decisions.

  • Act as the technical authority for Microsoft workplace platforms. Key Technologies Strong architectural experience across:

  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365

  • Microsoft Intune / endpoint management

  • Virtual desktop environments (Azure Virtual Desktop / VDI)

  • Microsoft workplace and collaboration platforms

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect / Solution Architect within large enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft workplace and cloud platforms.
  • Experience shaping enterprise technology strategy and architecture roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across IT, procurement, and senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity to own and shape the Microsoft platform strategy for a large organisation.
