Job description

A market-leading technology company producing world-class software is looking for a Delphi Developer to join their team. You'll work on meaningful projects that make a real-world impact, using modern development practices in a supportive environment with a great culture and strong investment in people, alongside clear opportunities to grow your skills into .NET development., This is a hands-on position where you'll design, develop, and test software systems that streamline the logistics surrounding pharmaceuticals used in clinical settings. You'll be involved in feature development, bug fixes, testing and helping push improvements through the delivery pipeline., * Support the team with development of new features and maintenance of existing Delphi-based systems.

  • Designing and testing systems for nuclear medicine.

  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests; help improve automated test coverage.

  • Take part in code reviews, pair programming and continuous improvement activities.

  • Contribute to CI/CD and build processes where possible and learn about release pipelines.

  • Update and maintain technical documentation and the team knowledge base.

  • Other duties to support the development and operations teams as required.

Requirements

  • Previous understanding of Delphi
  • Write new and improve existing code
  • Curious, methodical problem-solver with a can-do attitude and good communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and following documented processes.
  • Customer site visits
  • Interest in CI/CD, automated testing and improving delivery quality is desirable.
