Avanade is looking for Business Development Managers who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators and self-starters who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. For this role, we are looking for people with experience in generating net new sales. You should have fun selling digital transformation and consulting services (e.g. AI-powered business solutions, ERP, Data & AI, Cloud, Business Applications, Modern Workplace) to enterprise clients in the Consumer Goods & Retail sector., There is one in every group - the person who dreams big and has the motivation to bring their ideas to life, even as others might roll their eyes and prefer to play it safe. What you'll do
- Be focused on the Consumer Goods & Retail market and drive industry-specific discussions with customer C-suite in both business and technology.
- Identify high-potential transformation deals, lead and run entire sales cycles.
- Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new clients (new logos).
- Work closely with partners to drive new business.
- Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
- Interact with Avanade's new and existing clients, gain referrals, and form strong trust relationships that open doors and close deals.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competing offerings, and penetration of services and solutions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, We are looking for Managers who have superb interpersonal skills and who can establish strong relationships within new & existing clients within the Microsoft ecosystem.
German language proficiency is required - you feel comfortable working and communicating in German on a daily basis., Skills and experiences
- Experience selling within the Products market with a specific focus on Consumer Goods & Retail industry.
- Proven track record selling digital transformation and consulting services across multiple solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps, Data & AI). Inspire on business value-driven solutions infused by GenAI and Copilot.
- Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow your book of business.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and apply fast, effective solutions to remove obstacles.
- Success as a Business development Hunter with strong closure capabilities.
- Trusted advisor qualities in addressing client's business needs.
- Experience driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level, positioning value-based contracts based on customer KPIs.Fluent German skills (spoken and written), as well as professional English skills., * You are a team leader, deal hunter, deal originator.
