Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure service structure (enrolments, departments, accounts, subscriptions, resource groups) and core features Sound conceptual and hands-on knowledge of key Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services (virtual machines, app services, databases, networking, storage, key vaults, etc.) Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code and Automation (Terraform, PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation) Hands-on experience on CI/CD practices and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repos, Visual Studio Code, etc.); understanding of DevSecOps principles Hands-on experience on Kusto Query Language Hands-on experience in the definition and deployment of Landing Zones, including hub & spoke networks Sound conceptual & hands-on knowledge of cloud security, including tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure policies. Experience with Azure Virtual Desktops. Knowledge of general architecture, deployment and administration methodologies and techniques including systems configurations, networking, OS administration (Windows/Linux), monitoring, security, etc. Deep understanding on how to Architect in the cloud with a Design for Failure Approach Technical leadership of Azure projects is required Strong troubleshooting skills The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience: Knowledge of Azure Identity (Entra ID, Entra Domain Services, Application Proxy, App registrations, etc.) Knowledge of container-based architectures and deployments in cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Conceptual knowledge of other Microsoft Azure Services like AI Foundry, Logic Apps Conceptual knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS Services Conceptual knowledge of Azure migration tools (Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery) Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Technology landscape including various server products.
