We're partnered with a recently funded, high-growth startup building a powerful data platform used by B2B companies to identify opportunities, understand customers, and drive growth through real-time insights on a remote-first Senior Software Engineer Search, although London-office presence is expected once every couple of weeks.
They're now hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help scale their core product. This role suits a full-stack engineer who enjoys ownership, solving complex problems, and working across multiple parts of a modern platform within a small, high-impact team.
You'll contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure and data engineering, helping deliver scalable features while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business. It's a strong opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to make a tangible impact.
What will you be doing:
Design and build scalable features using JavaScript/TypeScript and AWS
Own projects end-to-end - from understanding business problems through to production release
Work across React frontend, backend services, data pipelines and devops tooling
Process and manage large datasets, writing efficient SQL where needed
Evaluate technical trade-offs and contribute to architectural decisions
Collaborate closely with engineering, product and commercial teams
Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactively identify risks, improvements and opportunities within the platform
What are they looking for:
5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with AWS experience (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, AppRunner or similar)
Experience working with large datasets and data processing workflows
Solid knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
Comfortable working full-stack across multiple domains
Strong communication skills and a proactive, outcome-focused mindset
Experience working in startup or fast-moving environments is highly desirable

5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
