Job description

IT Systems Developer (Jira / IT Service Management)

3- 6-month contract

Outside IR35 - £500-640 a day

A few days a month on site in Liverpool, England, UK.

We're looking for an experienced Systems Developer to design, build, and enhance business systems and integrations across the organisation. You'll play a key role in improving workflows, automating processes, and optimising our IT service environment-especially within Jira Service Management.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and configure business systems, workflows, and integrations.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Jira, ITSM platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Design and administer Jira Service Management projects, SLAs, automations, portals, dashboards, and reports.
  • Support ITIL-aligned service processes and maintain system documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues, deliver improvements, and collaborate with IT, Operations, and Service Delivery teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Systems or Application Developer.
  • Demonstrable experience using Jira as a Service Management tool
  • Carried out migration projects moving user accounts
  • Strong hands-on Jira and ITSM expertise.
  • Understanding of ITIL and service management best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Must be ok travelling to site in Liverpool several times a month.
