I'm currently supporting the hire of an IT M&A Senior Manager to join a high-performing, forward-thinking consulting environment. This role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, due diligence, integration/separation planning, and post-deal transformation-working across sectors on complex, high-value transactions.
The ideal person brings a blend of IT due diligence expertise, deep understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, and proven experience leading Day 1/Day 2 transformation, including integration, carve-out and separation programmes. What this role focuses on
- Leading IT due diligence assessments across infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital platforms.
- Shaping integration strategies: operating model alignment, ERP consolidation, cloud migration planning and synergy capture.
- Driving carve-out and separation planning, including TSAs, data migration, regulatory compliance and business continuity.
- Translating complex technology issues into clear, commercial insights for clients.
- Leading multi-workstream teams, managing senior stakeholders and influencing deal value.
- Contributing to proposition development, thought leadership and wider practice growth.
Requirements
- Strong track record delivering IT M&A programmes end-to-end.
- Experience in IT due diligence, integration, separation, and technology risk/value assessment.
- Broad technical understanding: enterprise architecture, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity, ERP (SAP/Oracle), data & digital.
- Ability to lead teams in complex, fast-moving deal environments.
- A consulting background is beneficial, particularly in large-scale or multi-sector engagements.
