Job description

As an IT Monitoring Engineer, you are key to the stability of our customers' IT environments. You ensure that systems and services run reliably around the clock. With your keen sense for performance and stability, you identify problems before they arise and continuously help to optimize the IT landscape.

  • Implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions for complex IT infrastructures
  • Analysis of system and application data for early detection of faults
  • Automation of processes and alerts
  • Collaboration with various IT teams to improve system availability
  • Documentation and further development of monitoring standards

Requirements

  • Completed training or degree in IT or comparable experience
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. CheckMK, Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Basic understanding of networks, servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux) and cloud technologies
  • Python skills for automation and scripting are a plus
  • Analytical thinking and desire to solve problems proactively
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary for this position starts at a gross annual salary at around € 44,450. We offer an overpayment (even significant ones) which is based on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
