Job description
- Develop and maintain embedded operating system components based on Zephyr for robotic and control platforms
- Implement and integrate board support packages and drivers for NXP i.MX hardware
- Support hardware bring-up, system integration, and performance optimization on target devices
- Debug and resolve system-level issues across hardware and software interfaces
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure reliable and maintainable embedded solutions
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, * Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable qualification
- 2+ years of professional experience in embedded software development and working with real-time and embedded operating systems (ideally Zephyr)
- Experience with ARM-based SoCs, preferably NXP i.MX platforms
- Strong programming skills in C; familiarity with C++ is a plus
- Understanding of common embedded interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
- Experience working in Linux-based development environments and with cross compilation toolchains
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Good English communication skills; German is a plus
