Job description
The Team Lead Engineering Windows Experience (Engineering Manager) is a leadership role responsible for the people, budget, product roadmap, and support required to deliver a high-quality Windows client platform offering for employees worldwide within Workforce Enablement (WE) at RDT. This includes enabling Windows client platforms, providing engineering, device management, and L3 support for critical devices used globally.
The Opportunity
People and Team Development: Focus on developing team capabilities, encouraging career self-definition, removing roadblocks, setting performance goals, and cultivating healthy team dynamics and sustainability.
Product Delivery Leadership: Co-create the Product/Service Roadmap (from a technical perspective), set clear delivery focus, ensure alignment with quality standards, manage stakeholder expectations, and create efficiencies in collaboration.
Strategy and Finance: Manage the team's budget (headcount, operational costs, and vendor contracts) and define success metrics, analyzing capability trends for optimization and process improvement.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in people leadership, product/service management, program management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry
Bachelor or advanced degree in Business or IT
Technical Expertise (Windows/Device Management):
Deep enterprise-level experience with Windows client operating systems (10/11) deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in a global environment.
Expertise in modern device management solutions, specifically Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.
Proven hands-on experience with scripting and automation technologies (PowerShell, Python) to manage a large fleet of Windows devices.
Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) within a Microsoft ecosystem (Azure AD, Active Directory, Conditional Access).
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated experience building high-performing teams, exhibiting servant and creative leadership (VACC) behavior, executive presence, strong business acumen, and an enterprise mindset focused on collaboration.
