Job description
As Software Verification Manager, you will lead and scale the verification function for embedded software used in datacenter products, based in Valencia, Spain. This role owns the software verification strategy for complex embedded systems, including firmware, APIs, tools, and services, while managing and mentoring a team of verification engineers., * Own end-to-end verification strategy for Datacenter embedded software products.
- Lead verification of firmware, APIs, tools, and services against requirements.
- Define test architecture and drive automation using Python/PyTest.
- Integrate verification into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins/Github Actions).
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing verification team.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure testability by design.
- Communicate quality status, risks, and readiness to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of industry experience in embedded systems or software testing.
- 5+ years experience in test architecture and design definition.
- 2+ years managing software development or software verification teams.
- Hands on experience with CI/CD tool environments such as Jenkins.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with electronic power control systems.
- Proficient with project management related tools such as MS Project, Jama, Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in software development with C/C++.
- Experience with Agile workflows such as Scrum or Kanban.
