Job description

Systems Engineer is required to join a well-established technology and engineering services organisation that delivers secure, resilient solutions across government, defence, and critical infrastructure sectors. Known for its focus on reliability, innovation, and long-term partnerships, the organisation supports complex, mission-critical programmes within highly regulated environments. You will design and configure systems for MoD and government projects, deliver assigned work in line with agreed specifications and timelines, and define IP structures while providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams. You will also participate proactively in the Duty MoD/Government Engineer rota, support trials and technical activities, and liaise directly with relevant agencies to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

  • Must hold, or can achieve, DV Security Clearance.
  • Strong understanding of networks and systems design.
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience (Engineering degree preferred).
  • Professional registration (e.g., IEng/CEng) desirable.
  • Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) minimum level; Juniper certification/experience also considered.

If you're ready to contribute to critical MoD/Government programmes and grow your career in a high-impact engineering role, we'd love to hear from you.
