Electronics Engineer / Embedded Software Engineer (R&D) - Sensor Technology Manufacturer (Oil & Gas) - Wrexham - Base Salary £55,000-£75,000 + Benefits DOE
Hays are partnering exclusively with a prominent Sensor Technology business, supporting them in the search for an Electronics Engineer to join their R&D division on a full-time, onsite basis in Wrexham. The Role
The organisation is growing its R&D team and is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to take on a senior position within the department. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects within the design function, covering tasks such as concept investigations, electronics design and validation, project coordination, and close interaction with cross-functional teams. This position places strong emphasis on embedded systems and programming.
The company provides considerable autonomy around project budgeting and development, promoting an R&D culture that is not hindered by financial limitations. Required Skill Set:
- Extensive experience in hardware and software development for real-time embedded solutions
- Strong programming abilities in C, C++, VBA, HTML, UML and related languages
- Proficient in PCB and IC design tools
- A genuine passion for innovation and product development
