  • Define and lead security assurance strategy across programmes or portfolios
  • Act as senior authority on cyber risk and accreditation
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and governance boards
  • Lead risk acceptance and assurance decision-making
  • Oversee application of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and CAF
  • Ensure consistency of assurance across multiple programmes
  • Support strategic growth and client engagement

Requirements

Skills/Must have:

  • Extensive experience in security assurance leadership

  • Proven track record of owning programme or organisational risk decisions

  • Experience defining assurance frameworks and governance models

  • Deep expertise in:

  • ISO/IEC 27001

  • NIST SP 800-53

  • Cyber Assessment Framework

  • Strong understanding of Defence assurance and accreditation (JSPs)

  • Ability to influence at senior leadership level

  • Active SC clearance (DV strongly preferred)
