Your tasks

• Cloud Infrastructure: You design and implement dynamically scalable and secure cloud infrastructures in Azure or AWS.
• Network Design: You plan private networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS - ensuring secure and high-performance connectivity.
• Identity & Security: You implement IAM/RBAC, managed identities/service principals, and federated identities in a robust and compliant manner.
• IaC, GitOps & CI/CD for Infrastructure: You build reproducible infrastructure using Terraform/Tofu and work with GitOps and pipeline workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Observability: You establish monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting (e.g., Azure Monitor, CloudWatch) and improve system availability and performance.
• Cloud-Native Infrastructure: You leverage container orchestration (Kubernetes), serverless patterns, and managed services effectively - including standardized deployments.
• Cloud Migrations: You manage the migration of existing applications into the cloud.

• Experience with Azure or AWS and hands-on cloud provisioning.
• Familiarity with Terraform and automation tools like Azure CLI.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure patterns., * Cloud Expertise: Experience with Azure or AWS, with initial hands-on practice in provisioning and managing resources in the cloud.
• Compute & Networking: Familiar with various compute options and the secure setup of private networks.
• IaC & Automation: Practical experience with Terraform/Tofu, CLI automation (Azure CLI / AWS CLI), and Git workflows.
• Secretless & Security Basics: Understanding of IAM, RBAC, managed identities / service principals, and OIDC / workload identity.
• Observability: You are familiar with at least one monitoring solution (e.g., Azure Monitor, CloudWatch) as well as logging/diagnostics for infrastructure.
• Cloud-Native Patterns: You know how Kubernetes / container orchestration and serverless concepts are effectively applied in infrastructure design.
• Personal Qualities: You enjoy teamwork, have a positive, solution-oriented mindset, and speak fluent German and good English.
