Your Mission
You will become a key member of our Competence Centre for System-level Engineering and take on a pivotal role:
- Define and evolve system architectures for end-to-end ground infrastructure in space, defence and aviation domains - from satellite control systems to secure communications platforms and complex mission operations environments, including e.g. operations concept, system budgets, system level architecture, interface management, network architecture, security, hardware sizing and RAMS analysis.
- Take a technical leadership in complex system-level projects preparation and execution
- Perform the role of system engineering advisor and liaison in interdisciplinary development project.
- Mentor and coach younger engineers within the team, foster knowledge transfer, and actively contribute to architectural reviews and pair design sessions.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Enterprise architecture?, * At least 20 years of professional experience in system engineering/architecture/integration, ideally with a focus on satellite ground segment and/or mission-critical systems.
- Strong knowledge of System-of-Systems architecture, System Engineering approaches (e.g. MBSE), and Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
- Experience in international projects, ideally within the ESA/DLR/EUMETSAT ecosystem.
- A passion for mentorship, coaching, and sharing best practices.
- Excellent communication skills - fluency in English is required.
