• Perform routine firewall maintenance, firmware updates, and assist in upgrade planning
• Monitor firewall health and logs; identify anomalies and escalate incidents as needed
• Analyze network traffic flows to improve security posture and optimize performance
• Maintain documentation for configurations, network diagrams, and change records
• Support network segmentation and secure access strategies for hybrid environments
• Participate in change control processes and assist with impact analysis and rollback planning

We are seeking a skilled Network & Firewall Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in managing and securing enterprise network environments at ADACOM Cyprus. This role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing firewall systems while supporting overall network security and connectivity. You will collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a resilient network architecture., * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering and firewall administration
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, and firewall policy design
• Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Ability to create clear documentation for configurations and changes
• Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Check Point
• Tools & Platforms: ServiceNow, Splunk/SIEM, Azure, AWS, Active Directory
• Protocols & Technologies: TCP/IP, IPsec, SSL VPN, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Compliance: GDPR, ISO 27001, Zero Trust principles

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as PCNSA, CCNA/CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, Check Point CCSA
• Security-related certifications (Security+, CISSP, or GIAC)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and cloud security (Azure/AWS)
• Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible) for firewall tasks
