Job description
As a Product Owner, you will own the end-to-end acquisition and conversion funnel, taking responsibility for how users move through a complex digital journey from initial awareness through to conversion and retention. This is a highly strategic role with real influence across product, engineering and data. More specifically, you will be involved in the following:
- Owning funnel strategy and roadmap with a clear focus on conversion and commercial performance
- Identifying drop-off points, diagnosing root causes, and delivering product improvements that drive measurable uplift
- Working closely with engineering to improve forms, flows, eligibility checks and real-time decisioning
- Partnering with Data Science to embed modelling, scoring and segmentation into the product experience
- Leading experimentation across the funnel, including hypothesis generation, testing and validation
- Influencing senior leadership and shaping the future direction of a core product area
- Exploring opportunities to integrate AI into the customer journey and wider product workflow
- Collaborating across product, engineering, analytics and broader business teams to deliver results at pace
Requirements
The successful Product Owner will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong product ownership experience, likely around 10 years, within digital or consumer product environments
- A proven track record of owning and improving complex, multi-stage funnels
- Experience influencing product roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong commercial judgement, with experience owning KPIs and broader product performance
- A background in D2C product environments, although adjacent sectors will also be considered
- Excellent understanding of experimentation, conversion optimisation, user behaviour and segmentation
- Experience applying AI in a practical way within product workflows would be highly beneficial
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple senior teams
- SQL experience would be a nice to have
- Finance or lending experience is also a nice to have, but not essential

The successful Product Owner will receive a salary of between £100,000 and £140,000. In addition to this, you will be joining a fast-growing business at an exciting stage of its journey, with strong backing, real ownership, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on product performance and growth. The role also offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the London office.
