Job description

As a Product Owner, you will own the end-to-end acquisition and conversion funnel, taking responsibility for how users move through a complex digital journey from initial awareness through to conversion and retention. This is a highly strategic role with real influence across product, engineering and data. More specifically, you will be involved in the following:

  • Owning funnel strategy and roadmap with a clear focus on conversion and commercial performance
  • Identifying drop-off points, diagnosing root causes, and delivering product improvements that drive measurable uplift
  • Working closely with engineering to improve forms, flows, eligibility checks and real-time decisioning
  • Partnering with Data Science to embed modelling, scoring and segmentation into the product experience
  • Leading experimentation across the funnel, including hypothesis generation, testing and validation
  • Influencing senior leadership and shaping the future direction of a core product area
  • Exploring opportunities to integrate AI into the customer journey and wider product workflow
  • Collaborating across product, engineering, analytics and broader business teams to deliver results at pace

Requirements

The successful Product Owner will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong product ownership experience, likely around 10 years, within digital or consumer product environments
  • A proven track record of owning and improving complex, multi-stage funnels
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong commercial judgement, with experience owning KPIs and broader product performance
  • A background in D2C product environments, although adjacent sectors will also be considered
  • Excellent understanding of experimentation, conversion optimisation, user behaviour and segmentation
  • Experience applying AI in a practical way within product workflows would be highly beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple senior teams
  • SQL experience would be a nice to have
  • Finance or lending experience is also a nice to have, but not essential

Benefits & conditions

The successful Product Owner will receive a salary of between £100,000 and £140,000. In addition to this, you will be joining a fast-growing business at an exciting stage of its journey, with strong backing, real ownership, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on product performance and growth. The role also offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the London office.
